From cleanser to serum to styling, the exact order and products you need for your hair type.

Most hair routines fail because they are built around products instead of around the scalp. The right order matters more than the number of products: cleanse the scalp, treat the scalp, protect the lengths, then style.

Step one is the cleanser, matched to your scalp type. Oily scalp: Solv-X. Dry or flaky: X-Derma or X-Folate. Normal or fine hair: Folligen for women, Bioclenz for men. This is the foundation everything else sits on.

Step two is the treatment. This is where a revitalizer like Cellagen or Numinox goes, applied to the scalp, not the hair. If you skip this step, you are washing without treating.

Step three is the rinse or conditioner, applied mid-lengths to ends. Therapeutic Rinse is the all-rounder; Vitatin if your hair is dry or damaged. Keep it off the scalp.

Step four, if you use heat or styling products, is protection and finish: a serum on damp hair before drying, then your styling product of choice.

Four steps, each with a job, in the right order. That is a routine that works. Everything else is decoration.
